Question

If 22nd January of an ordinary, non-leap year falls on a Monday, then what will be the day of week on 26th February of that year?

A

Monday.

B

Friday.

C

Saturday.

D

Thursday.

Soln.
Ans: a

Count the days from months between January 22 and February 26 like this: January days = 31;Add 26 days of February. Subtract 22 days of January. So total days = 35. Since 35 = 5 X 7 + 0, so excess days are 0. So we can count the day to Monday + 0 = Monday.
